cure for sobriety.
I can taste the
beer upon my
tongue as he
speaks.
And I know,
I will be down
at the mini-mart
in ten minutes
or thereabouts
buying a case
of brew and a
pack of smokes
and a cigar or two.
Therefore, it is my scientific
deduction, not to recommend
the screening of Bukowski
movies at AA meetings,
halfway houses,
correctional institutions,
or rehabilitation facilities.
